A few Q and A’s to help……..

How do I pay?

Payment at the moment is by Paypal which is very straightforward either as a guest or you can set up an account. We are adding other payment methods in the next day or two.

What if I change my mind?

We really want you to be happy with your purchase. Once you receive the artwork (we ask for confirmation just to check that you have received it ok) you have ten days grace period to try it in your home. If you wish to return it you will receive payment in full but we must be notified within these ten days and the artwork to be posted immediately. The cost to return the artwork is the customers responsibility. Once the artwork reaches us in the same condition it left we will transfer the payment. Any damage has to be paid for by the customer.

What if I have any questions not covered here?

I am choosing a gift…. but I don’t know which artwork?

Do you know that we provide gift cards? These are personalised cards with the name of the recipient to a certain value of your choosing and valid for a year.

We have found this to be an excellent way to give that special unique gift to the one you love, colleague or teacher.

Did you know that every artwork is professionally mounted (where applicable) and wired and signed with a personal note on the back with title, inspiration and name?

A certificate of authenticity is provided with each artwork- if it is a gift please tell us if you would like us to address it to the recipient and add a personal message.

I would like to buy a unique piece of art.

It’s a big decision buying a piece of art or even commissioning a painting but we will guide you through the process- its very easy! Commissions currently start with a zoom call with Sarah to talk about your ideas and what you are looking for. Following this meeting you will then be sent a package of info including some ideas for the painting, possible prices and timescale ( please let us know if you are buying as a gift so we can make sure it is ready on time). Once everything is agreed Sarah will send you a few progress shots as the painting develops. A final zoom call is set up to see the finished painting and arrange delivery.

Can I pay in installments?

We have phased payment options available where you can pay in three instalments. We understand that it is a big commitment. In some cases it is also possible to try the picture in your room before you buy, just drop us a line for more information.

Can I visit your studio to look at your art?

Studio visits via zoom or WhatsApp are definitely possible if you would like to look at the paintings and in the past we have arranged garden exhibitions due to Covid-19. Hopefully, we will be able to hold studio visits and workshops again in the Spring.

Do you send your artwork to my country?

All artwork can be ( and has been) sent worldwide. details of prices are shown under ‘shipping and postage’.

What is your favourite technique?

Wow, great question and not so easy to answer as my art practice really encompasses so many different mediums and techniques I have picked up along the way. I love using layers and different values of colour to create depth. Also there is a lot of intaglio (scraping) and adding shapes using hand cut stencils in areas for details. I find my art is constantly developing- you can learn so much from the previous painting.

Do you work in a series and, if so, why?

Working in a series helps to create continuity and consistency. It also helps to push the artwork to the next level. Each series has its own theme reflecting inspirations taken from landscape, culture and politics.
